Raise awareness of the SnapScan™ AI mobile application and demonstrate how quickly it can send bit data, while standing out from traditional oil and gas product marketing.
My Role
I developed the creative concept and wrote the script for this campaign video, collaborating with subject matter experts and the production team to transform a highly technical workflow into a relatable, engaging story.
Creative Approach
Rather than showing the application in the field, I placed the story at a baseball game, where a worker prepares to leave before the third inning because he forgot to send critical bit data. His coworker quickly demonstrates how SnapScan can complete the task in seconds, allowing him to stay and enjoy the game. The familiar setting, humor, and baseball-inspired tagline—"Don't strike out. Send your bit data in a snap."—reinforced the application's speed while emphasizing a broader message about improving work-life balance through technology.
Results
The 47-second video earned more than 46,000 views, with an average watch time of 44 seconds, indicating that most viewers watched nearly the entire video. As part of the broader SnapScan campaign, the series contributed to a nearly 40% increase in registered users, a 43% increase in application sign-ins, and a significant increase in website traffic.
